Our Top 9 Most Memorable camping spots

To celebrate being announced as one of @jayconewcastle ‘s Van Venturers we have picked our 9 most memorable camping spots in Australia so far.

Here’s where and why;

*Scott’s beach near Fowlers Bay. We had complete serenity at this beautiful spot right on the water. Just stunning!

*Etty Bay… tropical beach frontage, cassowaries…. need I say more?! 😂

*River Run Farmstay, an absolute cracker, fantastic facilities for a low cost camp. Riverfront, kayaks, dartboard, full kitchen, fire pits, friendly horses, ponies and cows!

*Port Vincent Foreshore Caravan Park, One of our absolute faves! We had never heard of crab rakes before we got to this part of SA. We raked so many here it’s so much fun and the best way to catch great seafood. 🦀

*Red dirt pit near Glendambo on the way to Coober Pedy! This is a random one but it was our first red dirt experience. Flies were everywhere but watching the sun go down over that red dirt was spectacular! 🌅

*Alkoomi Adventure Farmstay, Another fantastic spot. A lake, kayaks, pump track, horses, cows, chickens to feed and eggs to find! 😍😍

*Daintree Riverside Caravan Park. Just by staying here you can go up and down the crocodile river cruises all day long! There are some serious crocs around! Do not swim! 🐊 🐊

*Mole Creek, Tasmania, what a quaint little spot. A small town with a great pub. The caravan park gets you a spot by the creek, a fire pit, a picnic table and maybe a platypus! 🥰 It’s bliss!

*Lucky Bay, the best set up national park camping we have seen. Hot showers, flushing toilets and camp kitchens with running water! Oh and 🦘🦘🦘!
